Synopsis
Growing up together in rural New Jersey, Nora and Jason have a close relationship that seems destined for more. Right before high school, however, they are suddenly torn apart when Nora moves to the city, hoping for a better career.
10 years later, they meet for the first time at Freestyle, where they must come to terms with their shared past, their current realities, and the idea of destiny in order to realize what they truly mean to each other.
Freestyle 2023 proceeds are donated to The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) supporting their work in advancing equity and prosperity for the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in the United States.
Through initiatives focused on anti-hate, education, and narrative change, TAAF aims to mobilize against discrimination and violence while promoting a sense of belonging and representation.
